Jaime leaned back against the healer, melting against his solid, warm body and barely remembering to support himself. He shuddered and arched into the touches, burying his nose against Dominic's neck. His pulse was slowing down after his orgasm, but Jaime's was still racing.
He whimpered at the compliment, hyper-aware of how wanton he must look; hyper-aware of the dark eyes on him. But the eyes were the only attention his aching cock got, Dominic's hands, so delicate compared to his own, running over his stomach and chest.
"That's not fair," he complained, voice breathy and desperate. "I didn't tease you..." But there was no real anger in his tone. As much as he ached to come, he loved the taunting, teasing touches. He loved anything Dominic deemed fit to give him.

"That you didn't...but I, for one, want more of a chance to touch you, to take in how you feel without my mind being solely on saving your life." The healer chuckled, gently nipping at the hunter's sensitive throat, letting a sound rumble the depths of his throat while his attentive hands made their way back down the other's warm body.
He could spend all day teasing him just to hear the sounds and protests he would make, but Dominic felt somewhat sorry for the aching cock and the trembling hunter. One large, once gentle hand wrapped firmly around the base of the other's cock. The warmth in his hand didn't stop spilling into the other's skin, and he let it seep in as he stroked the hardness in a slow, yet firm stroke.
"Better?" Dominic asked, almost smug, a thumb tracing the tip of Jaime's cock while his hand gave him a squeeze. "I thought of touching you just like this so many times. About you making your way into my bed..." The older man almost purred the words low into the hunter's ear before pulling the lobe between his teeth, his hand stroking at the other's arousal even faster.

Jaime watched with lidded eyes, scarred lips parting as little gasps escaped his lungs. "Please," Jaime shuddered, cock dripping over Dominic's fingers. There was no way the heat of his palm was normal. It felt so good, TOO good, and left him dizzy.
His eyes rolled back, head falling again back against the hunter's shoulder, his hips giving little jerks as one of his hands flew behind him to grip the healer's thigh for some sort of stability. He didn't want to admit it, how close he was already, but between having the healer's cock in his mouth and the heated palm against his throbbing flesh, he was.
He cried out when the strokes sped up, nails digging into Dominic's thigh as he trembled more harshly. He cursed his body for being so over-sensitive. "Dom, Dominic... Dom, 'm gonna, gonna come," he warned. He glanced back at the hand working over his aching flesh, at the mess he'd already made of Dominic's fingers, and he moaned low in his throat as the heat in his stomach throbbed, and locked his body tight. "God!"

He didn't dare stop as Jaime's breath hitched, and his shaky exclamation of orgasm spilled from his lips. Instead, he held him closer, his free arm wrapping around the other's chest, holding him to his body. The magic stopped spilling from his palms, instead he focused on the way Jaime's body tensed, his muscles as they seemed to draw tight and freeze, his stomach and how it jumped.
The human body in orgasm was possibly the most beautiful thing Dominic had ever had the pleasure of watching. The healer's hand didn't stop milking the softening cock until the last of the hunter's seed had spilled in his hand on over the wooden floor at their feel. Once it had, He gently tucked Jaime back ito his jeans, placed a soft kiss to his neck and a whisper of how beautiful he was before stepping back.
Honestly, DOminic didn't want to stop holding him. he wanted to feel him against his chest and kiss that jumping pulse again and again...but, instead, he cleaned his hands of his partner's cum, smiling to himself.

Jaime whimpered as Dominic let him go, knees weak and heart pounding. He wanted to have those strong arms around him again, feel soft lips pressing kisses against his next, hear the compliments Dominic had to give him. He watched Dominic clean his hands silently, suddenly... awkward.
What was to happen now? Were... they going to keep doing this? Never do it again? Was... there more between them, than just something sexual? What if that was all Dominic wanted from him?
He bit his lip, worrying it between his teeth. It felt awkward, letting the silence stretch. But he had no idea what to say.

Cleaning the last of the mess away in the sink, Dominic turned, taking in the sight of the hunter. He could feel the tension that had suddenly built in the air, and see the worried shift of the other's body and furrowed his brows. "Jaime?" Dominic called for him softly, closing the distance between them in an elegant stride.
It placed a hand to the other's cheek, tilting his head up to look the other in the eyes. His thumb brushed Jaime's lip. "Don't do that, you'll damage your lovely lips even further."The healer smile sweetly but ultimately sighed more with contentment than annoyance. "What's on your mind? Talk to me. You never have to be afraid to talk to me. If you...if you regret what happened and never want to do it again I understand. While I want to have you as more than my friend, I don't want to lose our friendship over that desire. I won't say I regret what happened, however."

The hunter leaned into the touch, a little scared with how much he seemed to need it. Maybe it was all those years alone, stuck in this hellish life. Or maybe it was the healer himself. Whatever the reason, Jaime wasn't sure if the dependency he was already starting to feel was something he liked.
Well. Okay. He liked it. But it couldn't be GOOD.
"I just..." he started, but stopped. What was he even supposed to say? His mind was still buzzing with alcohol, his thoughts were a mess. In the end he decided to ask the simplest thing he could think of. "Where... does this leave us?"

Dominic looked down at him. Of course he'd be confused and worried. After all, this was sudden...not to mention they hadn't seen each other in months. Then there was the fact that Dominic was a hermit and Jaime was a hunter. They weren't a normal couple who met, dated a little or met and fooled around and there certainly hadn't been any courting...unless you counted the box of supplies Jaime had brought.
"Well...Unless you were wanting something casual because you're lonely, I would hope this means as much to you as it does to me. I didn't spend months thinking about you just to get you in my bed and that be it, Jaime. I care about you. I've worried and missed you more than I've desired you in my bed."
The healer leaned in, kissing him softly in hopes to probe the point, but left it shallow to keep from pushing too much too soon with his friend. "What do you want, Jaime?"

Hearing that made the fear that had been building slip away. He gave him a relieved smile, pressing a kiss to the healer's lips. "I want you," he admitted. "It's... been a long time, a very long time, since anyone has ever... well," he shrugged, embarrassed. "Since someone has made me feel anything."
He leaned back against the counter, resting his hands on it and looking up at the ceiling. "After Macken..." he closed his eyes, sighing. He wasn't in love with a ghost. But he still mourned him. "I guess I convinced myself that I wouldn't need anyone. Like most hunters," he laughed. "Always trying to be emotionless and just ending up grumpy..."
He looked the healer. "But I was... sad, when I left. I thought about you every day. What you were doing. If you were okay. I wanted to come back sooner, I just... I had work to do, and those supplies to get you... But. I'd like to... have something with you. I'd like.. to have that safe haven so many of us are terrified of in you."

Dominic smiled sadly, watching him speak of his lover. He'd heard the story, he had offered a comforting shoulder when Jaime had told him of his lover and how he held him as he died in his arms. It was a tragic story and, it seemed, tragedy was something he and the hunter shared.
But there was something else in all those words that made him happy. Jaime was taking another chance, a chance that most hunters avoided. He wanted to be with him, as much as the two of them could be together anyway with the life the hunter led. Maybe he could make himself more easily accessible? Baby steps he supposed.
The healer placed a hand to Jaime's shoulder, comforting and accepting, as he placed a tender kiss to the hunter's scarred cheek. "I missed you." He said again, this time his voice holding a whole other kind of emotion. "I want to be with you the best I can. I haven't been ith someone like this in a very, very long time. But I want to give you that safe haven you need. I want to heal you when you're hurt, and chase away your nightmares, Jaime. So...this time don't take 8 months to come back to me." Chuckling, he brushed the long dark hair over the other's shoulders, admiring it even as the grey strands reflected the light.

He smiled at the healer, relief obvious on his face. "No," he laughed, "No more disappearing for eight months. I don't think I could bear to stay away that long again."
Stepping close, Jaime reached up to cup his cheek, thumb brushing his high cheekbone. He leaned his forehead against the other's, his eyes closing. Maybe allowing himself this was a weakness and a distraction; maybe Markus was right when he said relationships and love held no place in their life.
But he knew that even if this ended in hellfire and fury, Jaime wouldn't regret a second of it. Because this made him feel, Dominic made him feel, like he was still human.

The simple motioned calmed something in him, gave the healer a sense of relief and release that was so far beyound the release he'd felt minute ago. His chest felt light and, even with all the things he had to worry and fret over, he couldn't be anything but happy right then.
Jaime was his, he wanted to be his. He would come see him and Dominic could kiss and hold him and heal the wounds that had bore into him both on his skin and in his heart. It was sappy, surely, but Dominic didn't care. It had been a few centuries since he'd allowed himself something like this, since he'd trusted himself with another human being.
It was slightly frightening, but the dark didn't creep up on him in those moments and it wasn't clawing at the edge of his mind. The only thing that clawed at his mind was how much kissing and how much touching was too much for the hunter because kissing him, and touching him, was really all he wanted to do right then.
"Good, because I might have to hunt you down and i'm not sure Markus would much appreciate my company again." He chuckled, tilting his head up to kiss the other's forehead. "When you leave I'll give you a way to get through the wards...and to contact me so I don't worry about you..."

Jaime smiled at the chaste gesture, Dominic's lips warm against his forehead. "Markus just doesn't trust easy," he told the healer, "but he'll get over it. He won't have much of a choice, if he still wants to send me out on jobs for him."
Pulling away, he placed a hand on Dominic's neck, this thumb brushing his jawline. "Come on, Dom. Let's eat before we get sidetracked again. I'm starving."
He was loathe to leave the healer's warm, comforting embrace, but the smell of the stew made his stomach growl. Picking up the knife again, he chuckled to himself, and finished cutting up the rabbit to put into the stew without any other incident.

Dominic watched him, smiling. It was a miracle it hadn't burned and it was a rather good thing that the hunter had started to cook the rabbit before he'd gotten there or it would have never had time to properly cook in the stew.
His stomach made a sound and the healer chuckled. "Looks like I'm pretty hungry, too. That rabbit smells delicious."
Moving across the kitchen he took a few herbs down from a high cabinet, takiing a pinch of this and a pinch of that to put into the stew. Don't get him wrong, it probably tasted delicious as it was and Jaime didn't exactly live on expensive, fancy meals. But, Dom knew that it would ad more to the flavor, make the meat taste smokier and the vegetables more fresh than they actually were.

Jaime cast Dominic a smile as he returned with some herbs, and leaned into to give him a quick kiss as he stirred. It.. just felt like the right thing to do. Jaime craved things like this, when he was off alone, unsure if he'd make it back. Being... domestic. Building a life with someone he loved.
He'd never admit it, but he was jealous of his brother. He was so jealous that he'd gotten away from this world; that he'd met someone, started a family. He was grateful, but he still craved it for himself. Even with Macken, he'd never had it.
But out here, with this healer, Jaime knew even if just for a few days at a time, he could have it. And it was enough. "So... I was planning on just sleeping in the clinic," he said. "But given the recent turn of events... would you be against me sleeping next to you?"
