She thought to protest but instead shook her head. "Alright. We'll go pack. I'll have to repack his bag at least three times anyway..." The two toned beauty smiled to herself, calling to Xen and helping him down from his chair. "Now baby, remember we're just going for a night, not a week so only bring four toys, okay? Do you remember how many that is?" Roxy asked, a hand against his little back.
Xen nodded before rushing off to try to be the big boy that he was and pack his own bag. Which, of course, she had to repack several times as he continued to add and remove things from the luggage on top of not being sure what toys he wanted to bring.
Once she'd gotten him settled and gotten a little pair of blue swim trunks packed, she handed him his big boy bag and told him to go sit with his daddy until she'd finished packing.

Azaizel waited in the kitchen for them, trying to look mindlessly up at the ceiling. But his mind was running a mile a minute. He'd told his sisters the topic of Roxy and him was strictly off limits. He warned them not to pressure her into staying. Because he knew that they were going to love not only Roxy, but Xen.
And they took family as seriously as he did.
But it wasn't his place, and it sure as hell wasn't theirs. Right then, Roxy wanted him in their son's life. And it was enough.
When they came back, bags over both their shoulders, he smiled. "Ready?" He'd parked just outside their apartment, and he unlocked his car. "I, ah. Went out and bought a booster seat for Xen," he told Roxy. The boy was still too small to sit by himself, he knew. He turned to look at his son, "So you can see out the window, buddy. One day you'll be able to do it without help. Did you know I was so small when I was younger I couldn't do it until I was nearly twice your age? But you're a big kid. I know soon you won't need it at all!" He ruffled his soft hair.
He put their bags into the back seat, and buckled Xen in. And, out of habit, he opened the passenger door for Roxy. "Your carriage, my lady," he teased her.

Roxy watched him put their son in the car and ho he talked ot him. You wouldn't know from looking at this man that he only became a father the day before. Sure, she had heard that he'd had to take care of his siblings, and he'd always been a gentle guy but it was a whole other thing to see him with Xen. They were amazing together, even in such a short time.
Xen would smile up at Azaizel like the wolf was already his biggest hero, and Azaizel spoke to him and treated him like he was already so in love with the boy. It hurt her heart to think the kind of father he could have been, but, at least he could be that now. A small part of her, the part that grew warm and made her chuckle when he opened the door for her, felt somewhat envious of the woman he would someday be with.
She knew, beyond a shadow of a doubt, he'd make a wonderful husband to a deserving wife and a great father if how he acted to Xen was any indication. "Why thank you, kind sir." Roxy chuckled at him again, slipping into the car. She could have been that girl, probably, not a deserving one but he would have been stupid enough to take care of her and love her...til she drove him away.
But it was best not to think about it, and she just situated herself in Azaizel's vehicle, putting on her seat belt before looking back at Xen. "Don't mess with your seat belt, okay, baby?" She watched his little head nod before he started trying to crane to look out the window again, so eager to be big enough to do so.

The way she laughed made his heart swell, and he knew there was a stupid smile on his face that he couldn't do anything about. He didn't even try to ignore it or hide it as they drove back to his place, and he made light talk with his son, and Roxy, though nothing too personal. He made sure to stay away from why she left, and if she had been with anyone, or if she was.
Too soon they made it back to his home, and his sisters rushed out as they heard the car pull up. "Roxy!" Jalah cried, coming over to the give woman a hug. They hadn't been friends, but the youngest of the Wolves had at least seen the biker before. His other sisters, Nissa and Jolene, hung a little back, but still called out greetings and had smiles for her.
When Azaizel took his shy son out the car, though, the women cooed over him and got close, though Azaizel did his best to keep Xen as far away as he could, knowing how shy the boy could be. "You look just like your daddy!" Jalah told him, and he could tell she was in love with the boy already. "I'm Jalah, your daddy's big sister. It's nice to meet you!" she held out her hand.

Roxy wasn't used to such an excitable person. Admittedly, most of the girls in the biker gang were friendly but they weren't the excitedly hugging type. Some could be flirts, or would hug you if you were leaving or to say hello but it had always been rather reserved... It was disorienting but not unwelcome to have Jalah hug her.
Honestly, she wasn't sure if she'd even be remembered, in her mind she carried an impression to those who wanted to fuck her but other than that she lacked interest. Before the girls in the gang, she hadn't made too many friends with other women. Partly because of the catty nature of them and partly because Roxy was a very confident woman and she had lacked certain..WEll to be frank she didn't give a damn what anyone had thought and she made no move to ever hide her own thoughts. It made some people uncomfortable.
"Hello, Jalah, it's been a while." Her eyes took in the sight of his other two sisters, she'd never personally met either in the time her and Azaizel had fooled around. It wasn't their fault or Azaizel's fault either...but they seemed friendly enough so she politely said hello to them as well.
Her attention had turned, along with theirs, to little Xen who was clinging to his daddy. He didn't want to be afraid, he wanted to stand tall and be as brave as his daddy...but people made him uncomfortable. What if they started baby talking him? Or expecting him to do something? What if they thought he was unnatural? But...this was his family, too, right? That's how that worked...right?
Xen tried not to be so shy and straighten up and put on his 'big boy face' as Roxy tended to call it. His mother chuckled a little but Xen looked at her hand and reached out to grip her fingers and shake it. ""En..." he tried to say his own name, then look past Jalah at the other two women. "Who're they..." his little finger pointed at them, his other small hand gripping at Azaizel's shirt.

Azaizel chuckled, running a hand down Xen's back in what he hoped was a comforting gesture. He'd never been a shy child himself. He remembered always getting himself into trouble, but the neighbors had adored him and simply said children would be children when he did something wrong. His parents hadn't agreed, of course.
The eldest stepped forward, the one you could tell wasn't blood-related, with her pale skin and shortly shaved brown hair. "I'm Nissa," she smiled, giving Xen a bright smile. "Your daddy's told us a lot about you and your mom. We're really excited you came to visit!"
She wasn't as outgoing as Jalah, but she loved children. Motioning towards the last girl, she stepped forward. "My name is Jolene," the dark-skinned woman smiled. Truthfully, she wasn't sure how to take Xen and especially Roxy. She'd seen what the woman leaving had done to her older brother, and she was easily the most protective of the group. But it wasn't the child's fault, so she cast him a soft, genuine smile. "I can already smell the Wolf on you." She turned her smile to Azaizel. "He's gonna be a handful, once he breaks out of his shell."

Roxy could feel the emotions rolling off of Jolene. She didn't feel bitterness towrd her or offended. To be frank, she understood if the woman didn't much care for her. Roxy had ran off, sure she hadn't kno Xen was Azaizel's in the beginning, but she understood how his sisters must feel. So she stood there, Feeling the awkwardness settle into her but kept her head held high. She was, after all, still a confident woman.
Xen almost felt overwelmed. He thought he was coming to play with his daddy and in his big yard. And when he looked back to his mama, he got even more worried. She looked as beautiful and as confident as he was used to her...but there was something about the way she gripped her purse that worried him. Was mama scared of these people? Or...?
That's what suddenly made him snap out of his shyness and sit up in his daddy's arms. He was going to show them he wasn't scared, his mommy too so maybe she wouldn't be scared either. Still, he politely said hello to the to remaining women.

Azaizel was surprised when Xen straightened up and put up a front. He looked to his son, and then to Roxy. And when he saw her, shoulders and jaw set, he understood why. Xen had picked up on her discomfort, too.
"Alright, you devils, shoo. Leave them alone for now before you suffocate them. There'll be time to annoy the living pis--... pieces out of someone other than me later." He shot Jalah a look, and the girl nodded. She understood, and she went away, his other sisters in tow.
"Sorry about that," Azaizel said when they'd gone. "Let's get your stuff settled, and then we can go to the lake, okay? How does that sounds, Xen?" he smiled, and put the boy down.
Taking their bags out of his car, he slung them over a broad shoulder and motioned for them to follow. His sisters were back in the kitchen; Jalah and Jolene cooking, and Nissa washing up what was still left from breakfast. Jalah snuck Xen a cookie as they walked past, pressing a finger to her lips.
"Just down the hall," Azaizel told them, guiding Roxy with a gentle hand against her back. "It's two separate rooms, but they're join by a bathroom."
